About Campaign

Women play a critical role in community development, governance, and peacebuilding. However, in many parts of Nigeria, including northern regions, women remain underrepresented in political leadership and decision-making processes. Cultural norms, limited access to education, financial barriers, and systemic exclusion continue to restrict their full participation.

Despite existing policies promoting gender equality, the gap between policy and practice remains significant. There is a pressing need for deliberate interventions that empower women with the knowledge, skills, and opportunities required to actively engage in political and governance processes.

Goal: To promote inclusive governance by enhancing women's active participation and representation in political and decision-making processes.
