About Us

Sustainable Dynamic Human Development Initiative (SDHDI) is a non-religious, not for profit and a non-governmental organization (NGO), conceived in 2014, registered with the Corporate Affairs Commission (CAC) and came into full operation in 2019, for the promotion of women, girls, youth empowerment and socioeconomic development in Nigeria communities and to also support the implementation of Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) Agenda.

What We Do

SDHDI primarily aimed at eradicating poverty and hunger, address lack of access to clean water and energy, promote good health and sanitation, SDHDI also promotes democracy, good governance, women participation in politics and governance, the organization also promotes social justice, human rights, women and children’s rights and campaign against sexual and gender based violence.

Through our initiatives, we ensure that every child especially the most vulnerable has the opportunity to grow, learn, and reach their full potential in a safe and supportive environment.

We advocate for transparent, inclusive, and accountable governance that responds to the real needs of communities. By engaging stakeholders and empowering citizens particularly women and youth we promote policies and actions that ensure equal opportunities, social justice, and sustainable development for all.

Community Empowerment.

We strengthen communities by equipping women, youth, and girls with practical skills, entrepreneurship training, and access to economic opportunities. Through capacity building and business support programs, we promote self-reliance, innovation, and sustainable livelihoods that uplift individuals and transform communities.

Vision

A society where women, children, and young people are empowered, protected, and equipped with the knowledge, skills, opportunities, and resources needed to realize their full potential and contribute to sustainable, prosperous, and resilient communities.

Mission

To promote sustainable human development through education, skills acquisition, entrepreneurship, safeguarding, advocacy, and social empowerment programs that improve the well-being and livelihoods of women, children, youth, and vulnerable populations.

Goal

To enhance the quality of life of women, children, youth, and vulnerable communities through human capital development, economic empowerment, child protection, social inclusion, and sustainable community development initiatives.

Objectives

To promote human capital development through education, vocational training, digital literacy, leadership development, and life-skills programs for women, children, and youth.

To empower women and young people economically through entrepreneurship development, vocational skills acquisition, financial literacy, and access to sustainable livelihood opportunities.

To advocate for the meaningful participation of women and youth in governance, leadership, peacebuilding, and community decision-making processes.

To promote child protection, safeguarding, and the rights and welfare of women, children, and vulnerable persons through awareness creation, advocacy, and community engagement.
